John McBride, Anna Maria Keogh, James Brown and Mary Curran were all from different parts of Ireland and endured the rigours of sailing to Australia to establish new lives in the mid 19th century. These four people are the parents of William Thomas McBride and Elizabeth Brown, who became our great grandparents. The William Thomas & Elizabeth McBride family history website aims to collect and preserve records, photos and stories of descendants from this branch of the McBride family, so that this family history can be retained and shared by the families of these pioneering people.
